Note

The purpose of this study was to measure the change in CO2 absorption capacity of lithium hydroxide due to cyclical compression and decompression. Since the lithium hydroxide shows the superiority of CO2 removal at temperatures below 40° F, lithium hydroxide was considered as an effective absorbent for cold water diving operations.
