Description: Dr. Jack Seitlin’s father arrived in Miami in 1909 from Gomel, Russia and in 1913 Dr. Seitlin’s mother joined her husband. The Seitlins originally wanted to settle in Palestine, but a family emergency brought them to the United States. In 1921, Dr. Seitlin was born in Miami.
