Published at the request of a numerous assembly of citizens from various parts of the county, and the members of the Washington Benevolent Society, who joined in the celebration. Oration on the thirty-sixth anniversary of American independence, July 4, 1812. "Notes."--Page [34]-36. Two states of p. 35-36 noted. In one "[d] Page 23" appears at the head of page 36 in the midst of the sentence beginning on page 35 and ending on page 36. In the other "[d] Page 23" appears on page 35 ahead of the paragraph beginning "This sentiment is most fully expressed." "Postscript.--July 11, 1812. At the moment of the last sheet is issuing from the press, it is announced, by a formal decree of the French Emperor, dated April 28, 1811, (received by an arrival at New York, from Ireland) that the Berlin and Milan Decrees were revoked, from the first of November, preceding, 'so far as regards American vessels.' ..."--Page 36.
