On back of photograph stamped: TEC 5th Eugene C. Hopkins, Bainbridge, Ohio, a member of 'A' Co, 53rd Infantry, 4th Armored Division, who swam a creek with full field equipment to help take Baerendorf and destroy a battery of German 88s. William Rosenblatt Collection contains black and white photographs taken by the United States Army Signal Corps during World War II. Most of the photographs depict various members of the United States Army and relief organization workers in France and Belgium. The collection also contains some personal photographs of William Rosenblatt in Paris during that time and some postcards from Laval and Verdun France. Publisher
