Note
Baralyme, Sodasorb, and lithium hydroxide remove carbon dioxide by the chemical reaction which is effected by change in temperature. The three absorbents were studied to observe the influence of change in temperature on the efficiency of the reaction. The inlet gas containing 1.0% carbon dioxide passed through the absorption tube at a constant rate of about 280 cm3/min. The breakthrough of the absorbent is an exit concentration of 0.5% carbon dioxide. The relative humidity was maintained at 90% for all tests.
