A 4-hydroxy-6-oxopregnane-3-glycoside with an aromatic ring A was isolated from a Pohnpei sponge, Cribrochalina olemda. The sugar is a 6′-deoxy-L-β-altropyranose-4′-acetate. A 4-hydroxy-6-oxonorpregnane-3-glycoside with an aromatic ring A was isolated from a Pohnpei sponge, Cribrochalina olemda. The sugar is a 6′-deoxy-L-β-altropyranose-4′-acetate.
