Heather Frazer, PhD, Professor Emeritus

Heather Frazer, PhD, Professor, Professor Emeritus, FAU 1971-2006. She was part of a team of faculty and staff that lobbied for a Women's Studies curriculum. In 1986, FAU offered the first certificate program in Woman's Studies. In 1988, Frazer was awarded a prestigious Fulbright Fellowship that allowed her to teach and research in India. Professor Frazer was named Distinguished Teacher of the Year at FAU in 1990. She is published extensively in scholarly journals. After her retirement she was named Professor emeritus of History which allowed her to continue to mentor other faculty members. The photo is proof of her as a prolific researcher and writer.
