Note

This study is intended to degrade halogenated contaminated water such as tri-chloroethylene (C2HCl3), bromoform (CHBr3), and carbon tetrachloride (CCI4) in situ with hydrogen generated from magnesium hydrolysis process. These compounds can be reduced to low molecular weight hydrocarbons such as methane and ethane.
