Note

Branch Oceanographic Institution (HBOI) operates three manned
(Johnson-Sea-Link I & II and the CLELIA PC 1204) which throughout the
year routinely dive to depths of 3300 feet in support of worldwide scientific research
and technology development. The safety of the crew and equipment is paramount in all
of Harbor Branch's operations. Operating locations are often remote and the
availability or compatibility of any local rescue systems or locating devices cannot be
relied upon to ensure a successful rescue.
