Note
Investigations of shell-associated behavior in hermit crabs (REESE 1962; HAZLETT and PROVENZANO 1965), tunnel excavation by homarid lobsters (BERRILL and STEWART 1973; BERRILL 1974), and aggressive stridulation by palinurid lobsters (BERRILL 1976) reveal that behavioral patterns performed by juveniles can be slightly less consistent in form but are qualitatively similar to actions of adults.
