Description
Marion Brozon was born on May 31, 1922, in Glendale, New York. After attending a three-year nursing program at the Brooklyn Hospital, Miss Brozon received her Registered Nursing certificate and in 1944 she enlisted in the Army Nurses Corps and later served in France, Mississippi, and Georgia. In 1949, she left the Army and moved to Palm Beach County, Florida where she worked at St. Mary’s Hospital until 1956 and then left to join the Visiting Nurses Association of Palm Beach County. While employed at the VNA, Miss Brozon continued her education and earned a B. S. from Catholic University. She retired as the Director of the VNA in 1979. She has a passion for art and to this day she paints at the Armory Center of Palm Beach. In addition, she is a volunteer with the Literacy Project of Palm Beach County and tutors on a weekly basis.
