Note

Several studies with macroalgae as digester substrates have indicated that variations in gas yelds occur with diferent batches of the same species. Studies were initiated to explore the comparative methanogenic performances of Gracilaria and Ulva crops containing different tissue nitrogen levels. Also, the comparative performances of two seagrasses, Thalassia and Syringodium, were investigated.
