Pages [17-19] containing "Save your money, and you save your country", a report on the resolutions passed at a meeting of the freeholders and other inhabitants of the town of Boston at Faneuil-Hall, on Wednesday the 28th of October, 1767. A non-importation agreement "to promote industry, economy, and manufactures... to prevent the unnecessary importation of European commodities... which threatens the country with poverty and ruin" was to become effective on December 31, 1767.
