Effects of organophosphorous mosquito adulticides on hatching fish larvae, other estuarine zooplankton, and juvenile fish

Seven field and 27 series of laboratory toxicity tests were performed, with 78 combinations of animals and insecticides. Bioassay animals were: hatching eggs of common snook, spotted seatrout, spot, and Gulf menhaden; juvenile common snook and spotted seatrout; adult copepods; and larval hardshell clams. Toxicants were: technical fenthion (Baytex), technical malathion (Cythion ), technical naled (Dibrom), Baytex thermal fog mixture, and thermal fog oil mixture without Baytex.
