An attack on Oliver Cromwell's policies, especially with regard to the Dutch. A vindication of Oliver Cromwell by Johann Frischmann, in "Delirus Prodromus" ; then a reply to "Delirus Prodromus." Includes separately paged "Delirus Prodromus" by Johann Frischmann (1658), and "Verax Prodromus in Delirum" (1658?). Includes, at the end, "Literæ Cromwellii ad Unitarum Provinciarum Ordines," a letter from Oliver Cromwell to the States General of the United Provinces (Westmonasterii 21 Aug. 1656), with their reply "Responsum Ordinum serenissime &c" (Hagae 22 Sept. 1656).

King William’s speech sought to reassure the Lords that he sought peace for the kingdom. The Lords responded with a generic letter full of platitudes.

William III's letter to the States General gives an account of the proclamation in Parliament of William and Mary as King and Queen of England. Includes letters (22 and 23 February) from Dutch envoys in London, N. Witsen, W. de Nassau, and E. de Weede, to the States General. Also a list of the horse and foot regiments which had accompanied William III to England and which will now be sent back to the Netherlands.
