A portion of a letter (first pages are missing) found between pages of Morais' sermon "On the Truth of Revelation : a sermon delivered on Sabbath Emor before the Congregation Mikvé Israel of Philadelphia at their Synagogue in Cherry street." Letter was written by S. Morais in ink in a cursive hand, dated February 15, 1887(?), 20 x 12.5 cm. The correspondence is of a personal nature, inquiring about a cantor.
