Address of Samuel Dexter, dated Washington, Feb. 14, 1814, concerning his candidacy for governor of Massachusetts. The "temperate examination" (page [9]-38), which is attributed to John Lowell by Sabin, is dated Boston, March 10, 1814, and favors Caleb Strong for governor.
