Frontispiece portrait "engrav'd for the Washington Benevolent Society in the City of N. York" signed: Leney sc. N.Y. Last page blank. Includes (page [3]) a certificate of membership in the Washington Benevolent Society, New York: "This certifies that [blank space for name] has been regularly admitted a member of the "Washington Benevolent Society," instituted in the City of New-York, on the 12th day of July, 1808. New-York, [blank space for date] [blank space for name] President. [blank space for name] Secretary. FAU Libraries' copy appears to have been trimmed to 17 cm; in marbled paper pasted over cardboard covers and gold stamping on spine. FAU Libraries' copy has certificate of membership filled in so as to read: "This certifies that Moses Judah-- has been regularly admitted a member of the "Washington Benevolent Society", instituted in the City of New-York, on the 12th day of July, 1808. New-York, July 3 1809-- Isaac Sebring President."
