Description
The relationship between student attitude toward computers and gender, the relationship between student attitude toward computers and program placement, and the relationship between student attitude toward computers and having a home computer of seventh graders in Palm Beach County, Florida, was examined. The study involved 1005 students (489 males, 516 females; 842 regular placement, 78 SLD placement, 85 Gifted placement; 526 with home computers, and 479 with no home computer) in seventh grade from three middle schools. Results showed no significant relationship between student attitude toward computers and gender, no significant relationship between student attitude toward computers and program placement, and a significant relationship between student attitude toward computers and having a computer at home.
