Description
The purpose of this study was to determine what budgetary
costs and revenues the City of Boca Raton would incur if
municipal jurisdiction and services were extended to a
10,100 acre tract of land located to the west of the city.
The projections of costs and revenues were made for both
the present level of development and for the area at full
development. The conclusion of the study is that should
annexation occur, revenues from the Reserve Area would
equal or exceed the costs of providing municipal services
at both levels of development. Early annexation would
result in increased revenues from construction related
permits and fees.
